ALL the best to everyone :) i know this is probey not going to work but im trying to find a joseph davies born 1904 Ashton underlyne who joined manchester regiment between 1920 and 1938 served 9 years served in india and eygpt dont know where else  sorry i dont know batt or number is there
any hope of finding joseph ? i am not subscribed to any site.

However, if he served in India and changed regiments the British Library has many complete service histories of such people up to the date of independence in 1947.
