A forebear was a brewer in Llangollen and is shown in the 1871 census at the Crown Brewery. I have been unable to locate the brewery or find out how to access brewery records.
Can anyone help, please?

Hi
Denbighshire Record Office may also be able to assist.
http://www.denbighshire.gov.uk/EC/place&su.nsf/Web/SubjectB?OpenView&Start=1&Count=1000&Expand=12#12
They do have a newspaper article listed under place/subject, catalogued as Llangollen Breweries
DRO NCD/1073 but this is listed as 20th century.
