Bridget's birth is before the start of full civil registration, so you would need to check parish records for her baptism. Do you know where in Dublin she was born ?
Following up on your earlier post about Bridget and her husband John Innes (see link (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,256111.msg1427514.html#msg1427514)) - I located a possible marriage ... not sure if you've already located this :
Name: John Innes
Registration District: Cork
Event Type: Marriage
Quarter and Year: Oct - Dec 1879
volume : 5 / page : 68
Name: Bridget O'Shaughnessy
[same index details]
You can order a marriage cert from the GRO with these references.
Did the family stay in Cork ?
If so it might be worth checking for them on the 1901 and/or 1911 census returns.

Bart, thanks for posting this query, it's proving a hard one to crack. I'd like to add some additional info in the hope that fellow rootschatters might chime in and suggest other possible sources of information.
John and Bridget were married in St.Lukes Church of Ireland in Cork City, Bridget's father was recorded as Michael O'Shaughnessy his profession was listed as 'Gas Manager'.
The 1901 census tells us that on Sarah Anne's return to Cork she lived with her aunt Mary Ann O'Shaughnessy, Mary Ann's place of birth is recorded as Co.Dublin and religion states Roman Catholic.

Hi,
My name is Michael Buckley from Cork and Sarah Innes was my grandmother. Her son Joseph was my father. Sarah and JJ had a big family of 15 and are all now deceased. There was 13 boys and 2 girls and were scattered between Cork and England. I see the name Alex in the family a lot and my own late brother was called Alex. His granddaughter is called Alex as well. As well I have 3 sisters and 1 brother who lives in the US. Hope you find this info of interest.
