Post by: Joebrown on Wednesday 22 December 10 22:14 GMT (UK)
My grandfathers sister Mary A O'Toole was sent to Canada 16th June 1910 from StAnnes Freshfield Liverpool. Her last employer in Canada 30th November 1911 was HME AG Picard- 18 Ru levielouis, St Sauvenr, Quebec. Mary was born 27th May 1897 at Brownlow Hill in Liverpool. She was sent to Canada aged 13.

If you can help provide me with any information could you please respond.

Thank you

Hello and welcome to rootschat.

May I just ask if you are looking for information on Mary after she went to Canada or the O'Tooles in Liverpool e.g. census.

I am assuming that if your grandparent remained in Liverpool, you may well have all the UK info?

regards

Hi
When you say 'sent' was she a 'home child'?

If she was a home child and Catholic in religion you may be able to gain further information on her by writing to:-

The Nugent Care Society
99 Edge Lane
Liverpool L7 2PE.

I was able to get a great uncles papers through them

Good luck
