Hi again Jamison :)
The actual report, if it still exists, would be at the State Records of NSW. Here is a link to their guide to Inquests:
http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/state-archives/guides-and-finding-aids/archives-in-brief/archives-in-brief-4#inquests-1826-1963
I had a quick look in the NLA digitised newspapers but couldn't see a mention of the death/inquest...it's probably worth you having a proper look just the same.
Cheers

The V numbers look like NSW reference numbers :) for the Early Church Records held by NSW BDM... ie before civil registration. eg
V1852508 (110/1852) Elizabeth Barnes
"V" as in volume, V1852 as in year of the event V1852508 line 508 of that volume (110/1852) being volume 110 :) The contents of these "Volumes" are on film at NSW State Library, NSW Records Office etc and most of the info on them is being transcribed and seems to be appearing on the beta version of familysearch (also was on the IGI version too) ... Sometimes you may think there's several people with the same name being registered in the one year ... Not necessarily so .... there's the V for their local parish, then there's the V for their local parish's quarterly return to their HO, and if the person was military, there can even be a V for their regiment's record too........
V1852508 (110/1852) Elizabeth Barnes So, in 1852 an infant named Elizabeth Barnes was buried and that was recorded in volume 110 and at line 508. As it is a burial registered (and not a civil death) you won't get much more info from that record ie you should NOT expect to find the names of the parents noted on that specific record. At this link is a brief summary of NSW BDM holdings and their history

volume 110 would be Wesleyan (Methodist) (have a forebear mentioned in volume 110)
More info
http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/state-archives/guides-and-finding-aids/short-guide-4/short-guide-4
EDIT TO ADD you cannot get a copy of the NSWSR bdm info from them, Restriction on photocopying
The Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages gave approval in accordance with the provisions of Section 14(6) of the Archives Act, 1960, that these records would be made available for public use from 1st February 1984. This approval was subject to the following conditions:
that persons may access only the microfilm copy of the records contained in Registry Volume Numbers 1 to 162, and State Record volumes numbered 5/4219, 5/4221 and 5/3841, and may take note of any recorded details; and
that any person requiring a copy of the actual record should apply to the Registry in the usual way as State Records may not issue any print or any other kind of photocopy from the microfilms.
You can get a transcript (same info as a certificate) from a transcription agent ... much quicker and cheaper !
NSW RESOURCES are listed on the Australian Resources thread on this board :)
Can't help much more at present time, as my OH and I are going away for the Christmas break.
Happy Christmas, and catch up in the New Year :)
Cheers, JM

As far as it has been worked out Frederick Arthur (Barnes) was born/died in 1850 in California (USA)
