Title: Help Please
Post by: imstillstanding on Saturday 18 December 10 10:20 GMT (UK)
I have a photo of two sisters, it is a studio shot in the early 1920's, one is sitting and one is standing a t her side with hand resting on the chair, who do you think is the oldest sister the one sitting or the one standing.
Many thanks  :)

Hi

Do you have a digital camera?  If so, you could take pictures of the originals and then upload them to your computer and then Rootschat.

Regards

Great!! They are so similar, aren't they!

If I had to choose, I would say the one standing is younger, but there can't be much difference in their ages

That was lucky.  I agree with Judy  :), the younger one looks to be the one standing to me, plus I would say that protocol would mean the oldest sitting.

Thank you very much Judy and caroline, that is what I thought but wasn't to sure, so the girl standing is my late Grandmother and her sister Martha . :)
