I am interested in finding out more about relatives who lived in Provincetown, and other places in Massachusetts. My family name is McKenzie, but names of familes they married into are: Bryant, Bangs, Rosenthal, Engles, Pemberthy, Daggett, Burch. The McKenzies went from Nova Scotia to Massachusetts.

I would appreciate any advice about anything I am likely to find online about Massachusetts.

I too have McKenzies who moved to Massachusetts. I have found them easier to trace than any others! I got lots of help here too so just ask for specifics. I see you have a Bryant in there. I think one of mine also married a Bryant but I need to look at my tree to confirm that. Will get back to you if I find anything.

I am interested to see that you have McKenzies in NZ and Australia as well. Relatives of the people that went to Massachusetts emigrated to NZ abt 1857 from Nova Scotia, aboard Breadalbane, and settled in Waipu. They were my great great grandparents, Alexander McKenzie and Ann (nee Fraser) there are hundreds of descendants.
With my Bryant connection, my great grandfather's brother, Donald Duncan McKenzie b 1811 Melvaig Gairloch Ross Shire, d Kempt Head don't know when, married a Mary MacLennan (1820-1900) - had a son Duncan Donald Duncan McKenzie (1837-1924) who married Jessie McDonald (1838-1924) in Boularderie, NS. They had a daughter Mary Ann 'Maime' McKenzie who married Guy Cauldwell bryant 16 Oct 1902, not sure where, but assume Massachusetts. They had 2 children that I am aware of Doris and Duncan Bryant. Maime's sisters - Dolina also loved in Provincetown, she married Clarence Burch; Jessie married Capt Alton S Daggett; - I think at one time the 3 sisters cooked at some kind of Boarding House or Hotel.
Hope we have a connection.

Hi kiwicatz. I'm very interested to hear any information you may have about these McKenzies. My family descends from Duncan McKenzie and Jessie McDonald, but we have some uncertainty when it comes to their children, particularly those who moved from Cape Breton to the US. Would appreciate any insight you might have, especially on the Dolina and Maime you referenced here. Thanks!

The best place to start is FamilySearch which has lots of Massachusetts records:
https://familysearch.org/
Also Massachusetts Genweb:

[I am from Massachusetts, but not Provincetown, so I might be able to answer some questions].
