Hi Rootschatters!
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to order a pre-1920 (1911 to be exact) marriage certificate for Co. Waterford online?
Thanks

The HSE has a website which can be used to order various certs, but as far as I know these are modern transcripts rather than research certs. They cover births back to 1864, but marriages from 1920 onward. See earlier topic birth certs from Health Authority (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,495797.msg3528436.html#msg3528436)
Older certs can be ordered by post from the GRO. They may also accept orders by fax or phone - see www.groireland.ie and Introduction to Irish Records (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,442233.0.html)

Just wanted to point out that my two birth certs (1882 and 1884) from the Health Authority were copies of the original entries and not transcribed. It's an excellent service - you can pay online and they arrived within a few days.
