I have a question about the info found when doing a search on family search
in Ireland - I'm new to searching this information
when I find the person(s) I'm searching for on Family Search , sometimes I find multiple entries
first one will have name , gender , birthdate , birthplace , father's name , mother's name and the batch , origin , etc ...
next one will have the above info plus baptism/christening place
on 2 of my searches I have ... 768,Bonmahon,Wat,Ire
... 811,Bonmahon,Wat,Ire
I guess the short question to the long asking is "What does the '811' and '768' stand for ?? is that an address ?
thankyou , in advance , for taking the time to read and/or respond to my question

Those numbers are the page numbers for the entry in the civil registration index- usually explained at the bottom of the page.

thank you aghadowey for your reply .
what I see at the bottom of the page are 'indexing project (batch) number' , 'system origin' , 'source film number' and 'reference number'
of which none contain '811' or '768' on their respective pages .
since it only a information page (not a scan of the original document)I'm guessing the meaning is somewhere in those .
thanks again for the quick response .

If you search the civil BMD Index for the same names, you should see an index record with the same year and page number (the 811 or 768). This record will include the additional details that you need to order a cert from the GRO or GRONI.

If you give me the names for the two entries you mention I'll have a look for the explanation.
