hi I am very new to this and am not sure what to do. I am trying to grow the macklin family twig into a tree. i believe my partner and his younger brother are related to macklins in bandon county cork. my partners name is john macklin, ( we live in victoria, australia ) and his brother (liverpool) who actually met the macklins in bandon, name is tom. please if you have any information on the family, such as when they left ireland etc i would greatly appreciate it i have got back to the about the 1850, in uk records
thanks.

The only Macklin family in Cork in the 1901 census is living in Innishannon, which is very close to Bandon.

The Innishannon RC church records are on www.irishgenealogy.ie and are free.
