Title: Snaith baptism - George Thorp

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right part of Yorkshire here, but I'm looking for a baptism for George Thorp, born about 1810 in Pollington. 

Please could anybody tell me where he may have been baptised?   I would hazard a guess at Snaith but don't know where I'd find copies of the registers.

Any suggestions welcome!

george thorpe 2/4/1809 snaith. son of joseph thorp and elizabeth pilkington. wed frances rhodes 1831 snaith. died 1881. is this any use

My George Thorp married Jane Walker on 30 September 1833 in Snaith.  He died in Attercliffe, Sheffield in 1881, so I'm not sure we're talking about the same George.

He did name his first son Joseph though....

george thorp wed frances rhodes 5/7/1831. but george thorp wed jane walker 30/9/1833 either 2 georges in snaith at that time or it same man whose first wife may have died? joseph thorp born 1834 wed mary hopkins 1853 and he died castleford 1908. dont know if any of this helps

My George's son Joseph was born in 1836 and died aged 3 weeks, buried in Fishlake churchyard.

It looks like there were definitely two George Thorp's born around the same time.  Mine always gave his place of birth as Pollington so I assumed he would have been baptised at Snaith, but maybe not.
