Hi
I have just found out today after a 2 year search the surname of my
ggg grandma her name was Frances(known as Fanny) Wallis
she married in Draughton C of E church 1793 to Joseph Craft/Croft
I wonder if anyone would be able to find a possible birth or baptisim for
this lady. Iam not sure if she actualy came from draughton her hubby was born braybrooke. and they lived in arthingworth but i believe these places
are all quite close together
Many thanks
Mary

IGI has a baptism of Fanny Wallis, 18 Jun 1769, at Desborough which looks to be in the same neck of the woods as the places you mention. Father John Wallis, mother Esther or Easther (no surname). MaxD

Thank You so much Max I will take a look at that. I reckon to have looked at IGI but sometimes look with eyes closed lol
Thank you again this might just be her
although her marriage in parish register that someone looked at for me does say Frances but her death entry and census records have her down as Fanny
and the name has been passed down
Thankyou again
