Hi/Shwd mae
I am trying to find information on where Coed y ffaldau farm was situated. I think it was in the Gwrhyd mountain area, Llangiwg.
After searching the West Glamorgan Archive service I discovered that Coed y ffaldau is recorded on the county series map, "Llangiwg, OS sheet 2.8".
Has anyone any idea where I can get/view this map, or does anyone know where Coed y ffaldau farm was?
Diolch/thank you

Hello :)
You could try West Glamorgan Archives to see if they can provide an extract or perhaps the National Library of Wales?
This site mentions Coedffaldau colliery:
http://www.tytwp.plus.com/Waun/Coal.html
"...this colliery is shown south of Brook Colliery - on (old-maps) the place called Coed-y-ffaldau (just west of Hendreforgan Colliery) is at (274463,211637) and on (Get-a-map) ( SN744116) although no mine is shown on either map at this spot."
Kind Regards
Morgan
