Title: Norwich Hospital

Please could some one tell me if the Norwich Hospital on Bowthorpe road  was a work house or an orphanage in 1916 and were could I see any records, as my mum and 2 of her siblings were supposedly put there in 1916/17 after my grand father was killed in France
