Hi all
This is my first posting so i hope I've got it right!
I have been researching my husbands family tree and have hit a brick wall. All of the people listed below have a connection with either Beath ( Lassodie) or Dunfermline.
I am seeking information on one of many ROBERT MC EWAN'S. he seems to have disappeared....
Robert married Elizabeth Addison on 03/06/1859 in Dunfermline. he and Elizabeth had at least one son, JohnMc Ewan born31/08/1864 ( I gather there were more before him!). John married Margaret Chalmers27/02/1885.
Elizabeth passed away 16/11/1869 and Robert remarried Margaret Burt(?) 12/05/1871. There should be children from this marriage as Margaret was only 20 years old.
I am also interested in going back further but am having no luck either. Roberts parents were ROBERT MC EWAN & JANET PITBALDO (also Pitbalddo). Elizabeth's parents were JOHN ADDISON & AGNES SIGGIE.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Sharon
