Title: look up Corse Gloucestershire.

I'm looking for a birth entry of Walter Hickson born in Corse C1818/19 to Joseph Hickson and Caroline Treherne.  Also trying to trace the Trehernes.  Thanks

I had a look at Newent District on the 1861 census and found only one entry for Treherne. Not in Corse but next door in Redmarley.

William Treherne. head, mar, 34?, Ag Labourer. Dymock Glos.
Eliza, wife, 36, Housewife, Dymock Glos,
Harriet, dau, 6, Redmarley D'Abitot Worcs.

To trace the Trehern/Treherne families, you could try www.forest-of-dean.net

It's a free site, though you have to register, transcribing all the Forest parishes, as well as those closely connected.  I just put in Trehern, no date and it gave 5 pages.

You may already have this but in Joseph HICKSON, Widower, 75, born c 1786 , Wall, Staffordshire is a Publican in Hartpury, Glous.
With him is Daug Sophia (MN Charles) born 1819

Now this is different;
1851 Charlotte is under Sharlot and she is born c 1781, Bromsberrow, Worcestershire.
Joseph 1787, Wall, Staffs and a Brother of his Thomas born Wall is with them. HO107/1960/454/9

At those ages it is possible Charlotte was a Widow when marrying Joseph 1817.
