I am really stuck with my FH. My Grandad John William MacDonald had a sister who was a school teacher and her name was Maggie/Margaret. She was born Govan mid 1870's but raised Bracadale, Skye. Can't find a marriage or death and would love to find out what happened to her. We were always brought up hearing about Drummond or Drummond Square and my Grandad coming from Inverness but his birth certificate shows Govan too. Do these places mean anything to anyone please? ???

Hi Janeymac
Welcome to Rootschat :)
From the birth certs that you have found, what were your grandad's and Margaret's parents' names? Have you managed to find the family in the later censuses after the children's births?
