Title: 20th light infantry division sep 1915?

 Hi could anyone tell me what minor operation the 20th division were involved in at the time of the battle of loos? I know they were north of la bassee, but the details i have are very sketchy on the exact role they played.Any help would be much appreciated.  shane

Hi shaner13, you can get the war diary from the national archives, the download costs £3.50 this should tell you what you need to know.
      20 DIVISION 60 INFANTRY BRIGADE: 12 Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps 1915 July - 1919 Apr./ 6 Battalion Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry 1915 July - 1918 Jan.

A very small [or light] point|: the 20th Division was 'Light', not 'Light Infantry'.
