I am looking for ANY information on the Willavoys family, they originated in Gloucestershire and do not seemed have moved too far afield "except for me I moved to Darwin, Australia".
I am in the process of compiling a family tree (initially) and would like any sort of input. I have traced some members already thru web searches.
My fathers name was Wilfred Arthur and my mother Anne, my father had 1 sister Nancy and ar least 2 brothers "Bert" and "Tom" I am not sure of their full names.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jeff,
I have found a little bit on your Willavoys.
First:
From BMD. Wilfred Arthur Willavoys. Birth registered Dec Quarter 1905 Stroud Glos
Nancy Willavoys. Birth Registered June Quarter 1899 Stroud, Glos
Thomas Ralph Willavoys. Birth Registered September Quarter 1901 Stroud Glos.
You can find this info at
http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/
You can order the birth certificates at:
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificate/index.asp#0
Now I found Nancy with her parents on the 1901 census.
Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire
Hyde
William J. Willavoys Head 33 Machine Oiler (Cotton Mill) Cirencester
Mary Willavoys Wife 32 Gloucester
Nancy Willavoys Dau 2 Glos, Hyde
I can't find William J. on the 1891 ....probably spelling errors...but they are on the 1881 census at www.familysearch.org. William is with his parents Charles and Susan.
I did find the family on the 1871 census...horribly mis-spelled
Ampney Crucis, Glos
Charles Willavize 36 Lab. Ag....... Ampney Crucis, Glos
Susan 29 Ampney Crucis, Glos
William J, 4 Ampney Crucis, Glos
Minnie 2 Ampney Crucis, Glos
Hope this helps.....and here is a link to the village of Ampney Crucis....enjoy

My Mary Willawoys (Willavoys/ Willavoyce) I have found a few different spellings in my trace.
Mary came out on the ship 'Alfred' 1858 arriving in Moreton Bay-Brisbane.
She married John Patrick Brady on 11 April 1860, Ipswich Qld.
She died 4 April 1910 in Bundaberg Qld her death certificate states she was born in Cheltenham Gloucester UK in 1835.
Could my Mary Willavoys be a connection to your Willavoys Family tree
