Cornelius Power son of Patrick Power & Joanna (Finn) who were married 1823 in Aghada.   Searching both back and forward.   Cornelius b. 1839 (7th child) Aghada.
Other brothers and sisters: Mary, Frances, Thomas, Patrick, Michael & John.   Family still there in 1936 but no contact since.

If you google the eircom phone book there is a POWER in Aghada on the phone...

Have an occasional look at the "Cork Churches & Diocesean details - Link" on the Cork Resources board. The Aghada RC Parish Records are linked but they only have A and B online at the moment www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,252841.0.html

I think your Joanna Finn may have been related to my father-n-law Thomas Finn born 1917 in Youghal, Co. Cork. He was the youngest of nine children born to Joseph Finn & Catherine Gleeson, five names of which correspond with the names yuo have mentioned above. Your Joanna and my Joseph Finn may have been sister & brother or cousin.

My Joanna Finn was the daughter of Cornelius Finn and Honora Carroll
