I am trying to locate the date of death for Edward JAQUES and his wife Catherine BELTON both from Frodingham, Lincolnshire. Edward was born abt 1774 and Catherine was baptised (according to the transcript I have) Oct 24, 1773 - daughter of Francis and Mary BELTON. They were married June 21 1792 (again transcript) and had 5 children: Edward b1794 , Thomas b1800, William b1805, Damaris b1808 and Henry b1813 (my 3x g-grandfather). The children were all baptised in Frodingham. The last two children Damaris and Henry don't have a father listed for the baptism. I am fairly new to this and am not sure this is of any significance. Can anyone help? :)

No father's name at a baptism almost certainly mean illegitimacy.
Certainly Catherine claimed to be a widow when she married widower James BAINTON 12 Feb 1822.
Note: "of Frodingham" at a marriage only indicates place of residence, not place of birth.
