Title: where did joanna nicholls go?

I am Stumped! I have Joanna Landsey, born1855 in bridgewater, somerset. the daughter of a soldier. Makes a 'good' marriage to George Jasper Nicholls , Gentleman, som of a banker and Landowner in 1877 in Camden, while he is on leave from the Indian Civil Sevice. He returns to India, where he is a Judge, marries again to Caroline and returns to England when he retires. But I can't find any records for Joanna, it's driving me mad!!! can anyone find her please?

Joanna 56 mother Widow b Caithness Scotland
Ann Miller 19 Visitor b Gloucestershire
Plus 1 Servant
Residing at 12, St Stephens Ave Hammersmith
Census Ref RG11/60/107/36
