Title: Stray Burials
Post by: CWALSH22 on Tuesday 09 November 10 23:26 GMT (UK)
Has anyone got access to the Northumberland Stray Burials list?

Please look up George Chicken born 7th July 1777 at Burnhouse in Simonburn.

He was at the Battle of Trafalgar and survived so was alive in 1805, but I can find no trace of him after that.

Thank you

Thank you, I am going to Kew soon to look at his naval records and that may allow me to prove it, although I really hope he didn't end up in the workhouse.
