I have recently been given a very old photograph of a mother and child taken by H BIRD, photographic artist, Talbot Street, Stourbridge. It may be a photograph of my great-grandmother Sarah BIRD neeTIPTON (dau of Thomas and Rosehannah nee WYATT) as either the child or the mother. I am seeking information about H BIRD the photographer and/or his studio so I can date the photograph. I am also interested in any information about Thomas and Rosehannah or any of their family history. I can be contacted on

I wonder if you should also post your enquiry on the Photo Restoration board of Rootschat?  Maybe just put a link to this thread (shout if you need help!) and that way we won't have duplication.
