Hello everyone,
I have been admiring all the restorations of the pictures and I was wondering if anyone could work their magic on an old picture of me (vain I know).
This picture is from 1975 and it is so old and yellow and faded now, that I am in danger of losing it forever. It would be a shame as it is one of my favourites, which probably explains the state of it.
Anyhoos any improvements would be gratefully loved.

Hi Trisha,
I daren't ask because I know it's an achievement just to get a picture posted on here when you aren't used to doing it, but - could you try saving the image again please ? We're able to post a picture to just below 500kb, yours is only 43kb. It's not a big issue if you can't, but the difference to the quality of the restores you'll get will be well worth it.

Thanks for the info, I will have to come back to this as I haven't got any software on my computer to resize this image so I will rescan it when I get a mo.
Thanks again.

The actual size you've posted is perfect - the bigger the better for restoring. When you say image resizing software, here's a good one that a lot of people use, and it's free to download !

If you get stuck, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Carolyn,
I love the bottom picture with colour.
I will rig my printer up in the morning and see how they look printed.
Thanks very much.
