Title: Hills School, Totteridge
Post by: LMN on Friday 05 November 10 14:04 GMT (UK)
I was sent to the Hills School in Totteridge Lane, Totteridge, as a lad of four in 1946.  It was run by the formidable Miss Hunt who I found terrifying.  It is no longer a school but a private residence. I have no idea how I came to be there and I do not have happy memories of the place but even so I would love to know what became of it and when it closed.  I would also be interested in contacting anyone else who was there.  I stayed there for about two years I believe before going on to an orphanage in East London.  Any information would be most welcome and appreciated. Thanks.  Lawrence.
