Title: Goodridge?

My ggggrandfather is stated as being born in Goodridge Hereford in the 1881 census,

His name Edward Weare b 1801

What I am trying to find out is his wife Jane I presume they were married before 1837, I have no idea of her surname, where do I start looking.

In later years the family ran a pub on Monmouth so they could have married there.

the easiest way of finding jane's maiden name is to purchase the birth cert of one of the younger children

Looking at the family through the censuses, the forest of dean family history website might turn up trumps for parish records of this area

Yes sorry it is Goodrich, I never thought of getting a birth certificate of one of the children.
