Title: David Spencer Blair - 1861 census
Post by: astley on Saturday 09 April 05 22:24 BST (UK)
Please can you look up David Spencer Blair on the 1861 census.  He would be about 4 or 5 years old and living in Norton or Malton.  I would like to know his parents and siblings please.

Thanks

This is him I think, but no mention of his second name. he is with his grandfather, another David. I had a look for his father in the census but none in Malton/Norton at all. There are Blair families in Scarborough but none seem to fit.  There is a George there but 17 and not called Spencer.

I note that David Blair was married to Isabella.  Does anyone know if they had a daughter, also called Isabella who may not have been living with her parents when the 61 census was taken.
I'm trying to trace an Isabella/Isabelle/Isabel Blair who married Joseph Boyes Ash in Malton in August 1861.  They are my g.g.grandparents.

Thanks
