I am trying to find John (or James) Dewhurst Walker who I think was born in 1870 in England?
He married Mary and had at least one son named Claude who married a Ethel Grace Turner.
He was a partner in 'Walker, Turner, and Dawson' - film renters in London (later The Walturdaw Company).
In March 1914 he formed 'J.D. Walker's World Films'and may have travelled to America.
Any assistance welcome

Hello Bobfilm: I've long been researching early cameraman, Joseph Rosenthal, who was from east London. He became a cameraman for Charles Urban and filmed the Boer War among other things. If you find anything on him (or on his sister, Alice, who also worked for Urban) I'd be interested to hear.
