Can anyone help me? I'm looking for info on the Manby family from Ipswich, especially the 3 sons. Herbert Manby, the father 1868-1939, his wife Ethelreada (nee Naters) 1868-1912 and Eric H. b. 1898, Arthur G. b. 1899 and John b. 1900. I know that Arthur married Catherine E JOnes in Paddington 1925. Anything else would be much appreciated.

Hullo Forest Fairy,
I'm not a relative, but a member of the Manby family was a great friend of my grandmother. She was Dorrie (Dorothy) Watson, married to Walter and her mother was Fanny, born about 1860, and I believe her father Herbert H.G. Manby. I remember Fanny when I was a child in Ipswich in the 40s, and even to this day I have linen embroidered by her and given to my grandmother!

Thank you for this. Fanny was my Great-grandfather's cousin, albeit his mother was born on the wrong side of the blanket shall we say, as opposed to Fanny's father!
