Title: E.M. GREEN - Author
Post by: fire on Tuesday 26 October 10 00:45 BST (UK)
Hi I am looking for information of my Great Great Aunt.
I'm not sure of her name but I do have her initals E.M. Green as she was an author and wrote a few books including one called The Dampier Boys.

Her father was the Rev George Clark Green of Modbury.

I am just curious about her as i have always had a copy of some of her books and would love to know something about her or even a photo of her if anyone has one
Thanks

The 1891 census does show a 33 year old Emma M. GREEN living at home with her parents in Modbury and confirms her birthplace as Everdon. RG12/1719, Folio 58 page 1; The Vicarage, Modbury.
In 1881, Emma M GREEN is a 23 year old teacher of French & Music in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. RG11/1888 Folio 77 page 2.
