The attached photo is of 1 of 3 members of my family killed in WW1.
It is either William Joseph Turland who was in the Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort's Own) who died in Flanders in 1815...
Or his brother John Turland who was a Private in the Worcestershire Regiment who died in Flanders in 1918...
Or their nephew William Laurence Hickey who was a Private in the Royal Fusileers, City of London Regiment (formerly 94th TR Battalion) who died in 1918 also in Flanders.
This photo was taken from a larger group photo (which I'll scan when I find it)... Is anyone able to confirm whether it is of any of the above?
Thanks
***2.11.10 - I've now attached the group photo from which the small portrait was taken***
Can anything more about the regiment be gleaned from this please?

His badge is none of the above. It might be a General Service button which were used either in 1914-early 15 when there was a shortage of badges or later in the war when some reserve battalions in UK used the button as well.

Thanks for the reply... I'll have to scan the group photo to see if that gives any more info
