Title: st johns hospital county home
Post by: redspookhunter on Sunday 24 October 10 21:41 BST (UK)
Hi All,

Does anyone know if there is any written historical book or research published on the workings, occupants, history etc of st john's hospital (previously known as the County Home and prior to that the enniscorthy union workshouse)?

My great grandmother gave birth to my grandmother in the County Home in 1923, but I would like to know if there is any publication available either online or in wexford/irish libraries to assist me in realising what the conditions, daily life was like.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks
