I'm looking for information regarding Deborah Kinsey the neice of William and Elizabeth Williams who lived in Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan (Llangeinor). Their other children were, William, Thomas John, Morris, Benjamin.
Deborah was born December 25, 1888 or 1889.
Thank you for any help.

the street name in 1901 isn't Fenhill, it's Brynbedw and the family name is Williams. Only Deborah is Kinsey. Elizabeth born Dowlais, the 2 sons & Deborah born Ystradyfodwg.

Thank you, everyone, for your help. To add to the confusion, my cousin found a paper that said Deborah lived in Blaengawr, Bridgend. Does that make any sense?
She was the neice of William and Elizabeth Williams, of that I am sure. They adopted her and her name on the 1904 (she was 14) ship manifest was Williams. She's listed as a daughter, but she told me many times that she was adopted by her aunt and uncle. Too bad I didn't ask for more information.
Is it possible to obtain a copy of the adoption certificate?

Both Gwendoline Street and Bryn Bedw are in Blaengarw which is in the parish of Llangeinor.
I live in this area and look onto Gwendoline St from my house........Bryn Bedw is just around the corner. ;D

There won't be an adoption certificate. As mentioned on your other post, the state only became involved in adoptions in 1927. Before that, the arrangements were mainly informal. In the case of your relative, as she was taken in by extended family, I doubt they would have gone to the expense of a solicitor.
