Title: Where in Wales?

My grandmother was from Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan, Wales.  Can someone tell me where that is and where I can obtain a copy of her birth certificate?
 Also, she was adopted.  Is there somewhere I can find out adoption information.

You haven't given us your grandmothers name but If you do a search of this site with your grandmothers name

Thank you for your reply.  I tried that website but got nothing.  Is Ystradyfodwg the name of a town?  I also have the name, Llangeinor.  Could that be the name of the town?  I'm a little confused.

My grandmother's name was Deborah Kinsey but was adopted by William and Elizabeth Williams (her aunt and uncle).  They also had sons by the name of William, Morris, Thomas John and Benjamin.  Deborah was born December 25, 1888 or 1889.

Ystradyfodwg was in the Pontypridd registration District

Harriett Howells wife mar 21 b. Aberdare
Deborah Kinsey dau 2 b. Ystradyfodwg

marriage for mother
Harriett Kinsey dec qtr 1890 Bridgend vol 11a pg 1318 with David Howells on the same page

Deborah is living with the Williams family in 1901 in Llangeinor, enumerated as niece. No mention of being adopted. RG13/5043 folio 74 pg 69.
