Hello all.
This is just a note for anyone who may be researching the Forster family in Lancashire, specifically in the Warrington area that I have a web site dedicated to that family hosted by Rootsweb at.--

I have a 4Gg'dad Ralph FORSTER b c 1800 married Margaret ASHTON on 10 OCT 1819 at St. Oswald, Winwick, Lancashire, England. Any relation?
-
Not in my immediate tree. I had a look for your Ralph in my alternative info I have kept for possible links but have not come across them.
-
Ah well he'll stay on the back burner for a little longer then.
Thanks for checking.
Regards,
Malcolm.

I had a quick look on line at one of the sites I use often and found the marriage of Ralph = Marg. Ashton. Using the approximate date of his birth (1800) I found a Ralph born to Henry Forster in Ashston in Mackerfield 1799. There were 4 other Ralph's but the dates don't line up.
Here is the link to the website.Good luck

Hi there, I just came across this thread, and now I'm curious to know whether you have any links to the Forsters who are buried in St Mary's churchyard, Great Sankey, Warrington? I walk past their gravestone every time I go to the library/post office!

As far as I know I am not. I have looked at the records on Lancashire on line parish clerks and none match my people.
