Hi,

According to Lancs OPC, Elizabeth was a widow when she married Thomas Youngson so Robinson may be the name of her first husband:-

Marriage: 14 Jan 1764 St Mary, Lancaster, Lancashire, England
Thomas Youngson - Sailor of ye town and parish of Lancaster
Elizabeth Robinson - Widow of ye town and parish of Lancaster

Hi,

In 1788, an Elizabeth Youngson and a George Youngson, both of Lancaster, were transported for 7 years to Australia:-

I thought mother and son, but I think brother and sister as this website gives their ages as 12 and 13 and the crime as theft:-

Quote
Dacre 19/5/1771

That seems like an unusual first name to me.  I wonder if it is a possibility for Elizabeth's maiden name as quite often maiden names were used as a childrens' name ???.

Try just googling "Dacre Youngson" you get all sorts of interesting links!

I'm quite envious!  ;)

possibly this was a family first name as there seems to be a Dacre Youngson born 1740 on one tree.

Who all died and also;
SARAH

GEORGE

BURIALS, Youngson, Father Thomas in Lancaster, Lancashire;
