Have you any idea of birthdates for the children to help find them in 1901?

Looks like they didn't marry until 1902: Tom Rowland Gwynn and Henrietta Ridley show up on the same page, Gateshead 10a, 1323, 2nd quarter 1902.

Should help find T R Gwynn pre-1911 and pre-marriage in the 1901 census
Births Sep 1883
Gwynn Thomas Roland Birmingham 6d 195
Hmmmm, you might need that Marriage or Birth Cert. Just spent 10 mins on a wild goose chase with a Thomas Gwynn in Sutton Coldfield (Aston - Birmingham-ish), so that lad is eliminated.

found herbert gwynn marriage to mary j magee 1882 but it says william herbert gwynn think its right still cannot find his birth ican find a william herbert gwynn in 1866 but that only makes him 16 when he married he is 30 on the 1891 census so his birth should be around 1860 1861 is it herbert william or william herbert
-
recommend you get the Marriage Papers and see who he stated his Father was.
If its Rowland, then the family in 1871 Hanley, Staffs might be relevant.

This is possibly your man in 1881,
William Gwynn aged 21 a groom, born Catsill Worc
living 89 /90 Ashted Row ,Aston Birmingham,
RG11/3D27
this may be his birth December 1859 Bromsgrove .
or William Henry September 1863 Kings Norton,
I think you need the birth certificate or marriage for this one ,just to be 100% sure
-
would it be possible to find william gwynn 1859 ashted row aston birmingham on the 1861 census as i think this is the one talking to family please
-
Hi I think a possible for your William, as off work no PC can someone look at RG09/2114/97/16, A William A Gwyn

Hi again the above looks to be your Worcester man ie not a W H Gwynn, I hope I am wrong and the case gets solved for you, in saying that I still believe that the purchase of the marriage cert as mentioned twice, is the only safe route for you to progress.

hi - just wondering if this is the same family as Henrietta Gwynn who married samuel Shute on Fernhill in Isle of Wight. Henrietta born 1754 from what I can see. cheers Kerry. NZ
-
no sorry no connection cheers
-
You might search Llantrisant, Glamorganshire, as some of the Gwynns (Guyn/Gwin/etc.) worked in the tin mine there, and those with a good work history and skills transferred to the tin mines in Durham during the 1850s/60s ....

Perhaps this will help. The 1891 Census lists Anne Richards, Head, Widow, age 39, born St. Dogmaels, Pembrokeshire, her children, then Joseph Williams, 78, Retired Mariner, followed by Elizabeth GWYNNE, sister, age 46, also born at St. Dogmaels.
The 1851 Census for St. Dogmaels is incorrectly attributed to Cardiganshire, instead of Pembrokeshire, but you will find living at 133 Mill Street, St. Dogmaels, Joseph Williams, 38, Mariner, Mary, 36, wife, Children John 14, Benjamin 11, Mary Ann 9, George 5, and Margaret 2.
Please note that living at 132 Mill Street is Mary Williams, widow, occupation: Miller, so she is quite possibly Joseph's mother.
Welsh for St. Dogmaels is "Llandudoch".
