It reads as follows.

Hi Matt
this is definatley the family i have been chaseing but with this new information it seems to be the wrong michael campbell birth that i found as this michael died an infant and the michael i have from my family tree had peter campbell in glasgow lanarkshire 1828.
I dont suppose it gives anymore information about the date of michaels death.
im sure this michael must relate to the 1802 bith i have.
you dont think they could of had another son and called him michael?

wow you made me very happy man as this either proves or disproves a lot of the tree i have been working on so im happy but sad.

thankyou so much for your time and if you do find anymore info it would be nice to know.

regards julian

Hi Julian It is quite possible that they had another son and named him the same as one that had died  . This has occurred in my tree Twice with different family's and I have heard other people mention it also .

Hi

Can anyone help with Dalbeattie Monumental inscriptions.   Anthony Rigg died 27/8/1850 Barnbarroch (from Scotspeople).  His wife Mary born England 1801 appears to be alive until 1861 census but I cannot find her in 1871 so I am assuming she has passed away also.  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi the name Rigg may link to my tree . My Great grandmother born 12 feb 1877 in William Street Dalbeattie  was called  Mary Ann Rigg McGinn altho she is listed on her birth cert as illigitimate and her mother never married and the McGinn was Mary Anns grandfathers name .I haven't dicovered any more Riggs in my tree so I assume this may have been her fathers name link to my tree below

Thankyou for the information - I don't have ancestry so I could not open the link to see the link.  Is here any other way I can see your tree.

Regards and thanks for the quick response.
