Would it be possible for any one to improve the quality of this picture whom I believe to be my Grandmother.
not sure what year this was taken.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post
Kind regards
Tidller

Your photo is far to small to work on. Please scan your photos at 300dpi and above for a better restoration. Also, leave out the scanner bed.

Hi Ma Cara
Is this one any better?

Better :)
The image is very faded but from what I can see of the skirt and hair style this photo dates from the mid 1870s.
If you are about 110 years old I suppose it could be your grandmother ;D ;D ;D

Hi china
Though i feel pretty rough today, not quite that age, could maybe my Great Grandmother then. I have a picture of her when she is much older and i did recognise the eyes as my Great Grandmother, my Mum and my Grandmother. Thanks for your help china.

Hi China
Thanks for your help with the dating of the picture of my Great Grandmother you were spot on , I googled the photographers name and found he was at that address in 1871. Just hope someone can bring her back to life now!
Thanks again Tidller ;D

Wow Caroline
thank you very much you have brought her to life, quite an interesting lady, it looked too me that she had an engagement ring on her finger. She was married before she met and married my Great Grandfather.
Thanks again Regards Tidller

Well here's my version.
Lovely lady, wish I could have seen the dress better, it must have been a stunner.
