Hi Buffy :)
What a great photo!
Not a whole lot there to go by, date wise, but the girl right up the back is wearing clothes and a hat that look like they're from the 1920s or perhaps early 1930s, so I'm going to go with that date for now ;)
Cheers

Hi
A lovely photo. :)
Out of interest, is there any significance in there being a man in uniform present and what uniform is he wearing please?

What a great photo to have...I wonder if the guy in uniform is a Health Inspector.

I thought the uniformed man was a policeman as unless it is a scratch he appears to have a whistle chain attached to his left breast pocket.Possibly he is backing up a health inspector.I'm not sure what the rules and regulations are to sheep dipping but some of the liquids used are very toxic to humans. As to the age I think Prue has probably got that spot on.
Seoras.

The man in uniform is a policeman. According to my father in law, whose photo it is, the local policeman would usually attend.

Apparently, dipping sheep is a legal requirement.
Googling finds several things like -
"Police had to be notified of the date and time the dipping would take place and they would come and inspect the procedure."
