Could somebody please take a photo of the grave stone U32 in Urquhart Churchyard.
It is for James Hardie and Jessie Williamson.
I have the reading from the MI book.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply and thank you for the offer but I will decline.
I am familiar with the churchyard and have a few photos of grave stones there but I did not know until recently that U32 was one of ours.
Thanks again

Are we talking about Urqhart which is on the shores of the Cromarty Firth at 57.594042N, 4.376283W?
If so and you can explain the reference to U32(which I presume are row and column coordinates) then I can probably get a pic for you. I'm just a few miles from that location.

Thanks for your reply and offer.
The Urquhart I refer to is in Morayshire and the U32 is the number given to the grave stone in Urquhart old churchyard by Libindx.
I think the Urquhart you refer to is further round the coast.
Thanks for taking the time to get in touch.

Urquhart is not an uncommon name and I thought it might have been the one I mentioned. I presume now that you mean Urquhart by Elgin.
That's a lot further away but I do pass that way occasionally on my way to Aberdeen so, if you're still looking and I happen to be going that way anyway, I'll see what I can do for you
-
That would be brilliant but it is a bit off the main road to Aberdeen.
Thanks again.

Have you got a picture yet?
If not let me know more detail of the stone perhaps a year and next time I'm out that way I will have a little look for it
-
Thanks for getting in touch.
I do not have the photo of grave stone U32 yet.
It would be brilliant if you could find the stone for me and take a photo.
According to the Urquhart MI book it reads
1889 Erected by James Hardie in memory of his wife Jessie Williamson who died at Fochabers 20th August 1888 aged 34 years.
I believe it should be away in the far corner diagonal from the gate. There are Williamsons along the far wall from the gate but I think Jessie may be on the second row next to a new black stone.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Betty
The stone was very easy to find with your directions. I'm presuming you are already aware of all the Williamsons in the grave yard. I hope this is what you were looking for!

Brilliant. Thanks for taking the photos and sending them to me. I really appreciate it.
We visited the grave yard about two years ago and took photos of the Williamson stones next to the wall and some near the Hardie one but missed it for some reason.
There are still some others that we did not take but so far have not found a connection to them. Thanks again.
