Hi,
I have just found a death for Ann Lawrence at Maidstone Goal in 1867 for the crime of murder. Is there any way I can find further information about this crime. She was born Ann Milton in 1838 and married Stephen Lawrence in 1855 at Plaxtol, Kent. They had a son Jeremiah in 1862 who dies in 1866 a month before Ann first appears in court for murder and wonder if she killed her own child. I wonder if Jeremiah's death certificate will help. If anyone can help in any way I would very much appreciate it.

That is amazing to get all that information. Such a sad story. Poor little Jeremiah to die at such a young age.
Once again thank you so much for your help. It is very much appreciated.

I am one of a small team researching burials on behalf of the Friends of Woodbury Park Cemetery, whisch is long since closed in Tunbridge Wells. Jeremiah Lawrance died at number 2 or number 3 Ebury Cottages in Tunbridge Wells and was buried in Woodbury Park. I am currently writing mini biographies of a number of Lawrances, including Jeremiah, who are interred there. I can send you some detailed material. Please send me your e-mail address and I'll despatch the documents.
