Hello, i'm trying to find the parents of James Scobie Page (on the statutory register as James Scobbie Page) born 1914 in Kinross

If anyone could help point me in the right direction as i'm very new to Scottish family history. I have credits on Scotlands People but can't seem to find a birth record that includes the Parent's name.

I'll order the certificate if needs be but i just wanted to see if there was any other websites that would have this information beforehand.

You will have to order the certificate to be sure.  If he married before 1935 you might be able to confirm that way

I have Pages in Kinross but don't know this name.  However, I had found a cert (not related to me) for a James Storrar Page, son of Alexander Page and Catherine Storrar, who married Jeanie Scobbie, dau of james Scobbie and Agnes Whyte.  They married 25 December 1908 in St Ninians, James was from Kinross, Jeanie from St Ninians.  Could be worth following up on them (death certs etc) to see if there is a link to  the family

James married 1945 in Liverpool
