Title: Greenwich 1861 census lookup

Looking for family of Jane Adams, b. 1856/7 in Rotherhithe or Greenwich. Her mother was Maria.

If someone could check the 1861 census for me, I'd be very grateful.

The 1861 census has only two girls called Jane Adams and with a mother Maria - both in Dorset.

Jane's parents, I believe, were Arnold (aka John) Adams and Maria Ann. They were both born (1831/2) and married (1852) in Cambridgshire, but they don't obviously turn up in the census until 1881. Maria Ann is in Bristol and Arnold is visiting her sister in Westminster. Arnold also sometimes used a middle name, Arnold Hall Adams.

Jane Adams married Walter A. Fryer in Bristol in 1878. Their daughter Elizabeth Alice was living with her grandmother Maria Ann Adams in 1881.

I'm thinking that if I can find Jane in 1861/1871 I may find others of the family.
