Title: Silk Manufacturer - Trade Directory Look up

Please could someone lookup Silas Gibson who had a silk mill from roughly 1851 - 1881 in Leek first it was the fathers and then the sons both named Silas.

I would love to find out the address of the Mill and then I am hoping to find a photo of it.

I found this by Googling.  See half way down under: BC2/1127.  I don't know whether you can get anything from this.

Another web site, although it doesn't actually say where the mill was situated is does say where he lived.

Have you thought about contacting Leek Town Council.  I'm sure that they would be able to help you. There is a contact email address on their web site.
