Title: "The Manor House" Wellesbourne Mountford
Post by: truebritmega on Sunday 03 October 10 15:01 BST (UK)
Does anyone know where I can find photos of the manor house, wellesbourne? apparently it was the home of the Venour family for around 300 years (the Venours are part of my tree) apparently the house was rebuilt by the Lucy family of Charlecote (who i also believe are connected to the Venours, but I havent worked out "how" lol

Sorry dont seem to be able to post a direct link, but if you Google - Wellsbourne House & Charlecote Manor,
this leads to a link :: fotopic Net, which seems to have several photos.

Hi, I'm trying to find photos too, as the Venours are my forebears (Alice Venour was my 10th g-grandmother); on the British Listed Buildings website, it's The Manor House, Wellesbourne, and the address is Chestnut Square, Wellesbourne, CV35 9QT; if you go via Google Maps, it looks as though it's not one of the houses in the square, but opposite, and surrounded by trees!
