Title: HMS Lord Warden, Able seaman 1871
Post by: James D on Sunday 03 October 10 10:18 BST (UK)
Hi

Is it possible to lookup details of an Able Seaman who was recorded in the 1871 census as being on the HMS Lord Warden in Naples?

I have tried Ancestry & the PRO, Kew with no luck.

The person I'm looking for is George Sweetman (who was married to Martha Jordan in 1866) he was 29 and born in Middlesex in the 1871 census.

I have detail of Martha remarrying a George Dennis (also a Mariner) in 1886.

Thanks
