Title: Ludlow Obituries

Hi

I have a Charles Swinbourne of Ludlow who collapsed and died whilst in the "Feathers Hotel" in o/n/d of 1957, can anyone tell me the local newspaper of the time and where i might find any obituary, or other details of this incident of him

Hi,

the weekly local paper is 'The Ludlow Advertiser' and I think this would have existed in the 1950s.
Ludlow library website says that they have local papers on microfilm (they don't mention which titles).

The evening paper which covers Shropshire is the Shropshire Star (again I presume that existed in the 1950s).
