Another one from the American series; Sunday 3rd October, BBC1, 10.25pm.
Sorry but I don't have details of any regional variations. :-[

Thank you again for the reminder, our Sky+ box gave up the ghost yesterday, so until it's fixed we're trying to work out how to use the DVD recorder as typically, there are progs I want to watch tonight which are on the same time as progs my OH wants to watch, one of them being WDYTYA.
-
I watched this last night after recording it. One of the better American ones. I won't say any more - I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet :)
-
Didn't manage to record it unfortunately, Sky+ broken, and then OH unplugged DVD by mistake after I'd set that to record. ::)
Oh well, I'm sure it'll be repeated. I can't watch on iplayer or whatever as the broadband in our area is too slow for streaming TV programmes.

I will look forward to hearing if there are repeats of any of the American ones since I seem to have missed quite a few.
I don't think you'd be able to catch it on IPlayer anyway even if you had a faster broadband since the American ones, last time I tried to watch, was not available online, sadly >:(

Well that sorts that problem then. ::)

It is available on iplayer, I'm just about to watch it. :)

Well that's a nice surprise, thank you for the link Betty, it was when I was trying to find the Lisa Kudrow one that it wasn't available.
Having done a search on the site for "Who Do You Think You Are" Matthew Broderick is the only one showing up so perhaps they are available for only a short time - make the most of it if you missed it.
-
I'll try to watch it. What usually happens is that every few frames of a programme of film, it stops and reloads.

Just managed to watch it on iplayer. Thank you Betty.
How lucky to have all those records available for ordinary people i.e. not nobility or suchlike.

Loved this episode,as it dealt with my two favourite pieces of history ie WW1 and the War between the States. Wonder what happened to the Purple Star, and again I wonder if Grandpa Joe actually received his DSO or was he just recommended for it. I must say that the rose looked almost second-hand or was it the only one left in the florists. Apart from all that, it was a relly good programme.

As with the other American ones this was another top episode with Matthew clearly interested in finding out what happened to his ancestor's. I did have a laugh at them standing so close to the railway tracks, health and safety would have a fit in the UK.
-
Apart from him keep saying "wow", I enjoyed this episode. He seemed really keen and very concerned by what he found.
-
Very good episode, I thoroughly enjoyed it..."wow" got rather annoying!

At least he didn't slip into his wife's annoying phrase "UN - BE - LIEVABLE!" ;D
